Threadworms argh

Sorry to repeat what's probably been written a million times but my daughter got threadworms six months ago and then so did I, countless ovex episodes later I conclude that it doesn't really work properly and just kills worms not eggs etc etc which is annoying as my doctor can't get hold of pripsen any more. Have tried wormwood but doesn't seem to do a lot. However, what is disturbing me more is it seems that about five days after I take ovex a lot of bad stuff comes out in my poo including what look like flukes. How can you tell if they're flukes or not? They are black and rubbery and don't look like anything I've eaten. In the same bowel movement a lot of threadworms also seem to come out. Stool test at the doctors came out negative even though I was sure there were worms in there. Anyhow I just wondered if the ovex, despite being pretty useless at obliterating the threadworms, can expel other parasites that you didn't even know you had. I am wondering whether years of ibs, allergies etc can be attributed to or made worse by parasites.

I was just thinking that exact thought (ibs, allergies made worse or caused by parasites) this morning!

I am taking mebendazole and just found out it only kills adult worms. Have used Humaworm with good results but I seem to have some very stubborn worms that lay a million eggs so I am never done with these parasites. It is very discouraging. I also think (maybe I'm paranoid) they give me a foul body odor. Anyone else think that?

I got this from an angel wink on the internet. Give this 3-4 months. Read up on and expect the die-off. I used pumpkin seeds,...1/4C. Daily. The taste is mild and good; they're easy to eat! They paralyze the threadworms, making them detach from your intestinal walls. Take throughout the day and take a few handfuls before bedtime. Also, at night, make a paste of vaseline and garlic powder. You will get them, coming and going! I felt a "pop". I think they were hiding in a hemorrhoid sac.I did this for about two weeks straight, you can do it longer, if you like. In the morning, I took probiotics in plain Greek Yogurt. Probiotics sweep lean the neutralized worms. When they try to exit from your rear, they release eggs in your system. This is why you should devote several months to this. I also sucked up my pride and went to a health-food store. The gal was so non-judgmental and that was comforting. My doctor didn't believe me and even snickered, patronizingly. I took ParaRid. Ask around. I cut way back on sugars. Sugar is in everything! It's month four for me and I sleep at night, no writhing! I also incorporated coconut oil in my diet. I wait a couple of hours between taking my probiotics and oil. Virgin coconut oil. This is the cheapest method around. Try it. God bless you!

I forgot. You should have increased stools. Did I say that discreetly enough? They will help push all waste through! After implementing additional herbal supplements, expect a recurrence and cold symptoms,..keep at it. It's YOUR BODY, TAKE IT BACK! It CAN be donesmile

I am thinking of trying pumpkin seeds but I really hate the taste of them so need to psyche myself up for that. I have never had really bad symptoms, just that unique twitchy thing that's kind of just inside your anus. Has anyone else also had a kind of grit deposit and stickiness after the twitchy sensation. Presumably that's to do with when the eggs are laid? I agree with other peoples comments about the stool tests. Think it might have been another thread but anyhow you can submit a stool sample with bits of worm in it and it still comes out negative so I think they must just test for eggs and not examine the sample. Or maybe the worms just disintegrate. I think there must be a link with candida in the guts which i already had. I think this provides a favourable breeding ground. Other people don't seem to have caught these things and struggled to get rid of them like I have. Also maybe female hormones are a factor?? Still not sure what the black bits are that came out after the ovex. Not eaten anything black and they look a bit like fluke pics I have seen on Internet. Or bits of larger worms maybe? Grossed me out totally though.

    Thanks Lynne!

I will buy my pumpkin seeds first thing after work. This is something I can totally do... I'm hopeful again.

1/4 C. Is the recommended amount. They're good but kinda high in calories. I like 'em; they're easy to eat! But,....try the booty-paste of vaseline and garlic powder at night. Do it for two or even three weeks. The worms life-span is cyclical. Even if you ate more of the pumpkin seeds, I think you'd be fine. They're just gonna push waste out. Don't forget the probiotics. And don't be discouraged either. You CAN do this. I'm proof! Also, I changed bedding. Got rid of my mattress-cover. Had more than one thing working against me. Got rid of it! This was answered prayer for me!
