Throat, Ear and Jaw Pain???? Another menopause blessing or?????

Hi Ladies;

Merry Christmas to all my partners in pain (lol).

Have any of you ladies had experience with throat, ear and jaw issues.

For about the last month my mouth feels like I swallowed a nasty sock. Super dry and I have had bad breathe with occasional sharp like electrical jaw and ear pains. I found some tonsil stones that I "think" are all out.

I am on antibiotics (was not diagnosed with anything but have a client who is a doctor just call it in as I thought it was an ear infection).

The sharp pains are gone, the red throat is gone but I am still getting these odd deep aches in the very right rear of my throat, jaw and right ear. The pain goes as fast as it comes but wonder if these weird sensations are just another menopause blessing or ?

    Let me also add, I don't have heartburn so don't think it's GERD but who knows. My nausea is finally gone as is the right shoulder blade pain so NOW it's all about this ear, throat and jaw craziness.

      hi leisa - i have had the super dry tongue/throat & the jaw pain on the left side. i was away at a wedding when i first experienced the left jaw pain & was in a remote location & convinced myself that i was having a heart attack & there would be no one to help me - suffice it to say my health anxiety was on overdrive - i have had it a few times since & just dont give it too much energy & it goes away - my acupuncturist says dry mouth/throat means the adrenals are working hard which makes sense during these imbalances -

    hi there and merry Christmas to you also....yes ive woken up through the night and felt like i was choaking on something many a time....ive had inner pain and have been off balance with awful ringing in my ear...id ear infections and this can also come from your sinus as the change causes dryness in sinus cavities which can cause headaches. ear pain and diziness...been there with it all...it can all get too much but part of the whole thing...hang tight..you are not alone ..

    hi Leisa. I have this identical issue right now. since being in Peri menopause i have had constant throat ear and jaw pain. Sinus drainage with constant clicking and popping in my ears but no ringing. Electric shooting pains in the back of my throat and just throbbing feeling especially when I stand up. when i lay down my face clicks (sinus!). all mine on left side. i know sinus problems and GERD are closely related but not sure what I have other than swelling of sinuses and ear tube. I am on Claritin, nasal spray’s and gurgling a lot with salt water for the throat. many ENT visits. had all testing and nothing ominous but just want it to GO AWAY. your nausea and shoulder blade pain do point to GERD. it can be silent. its called LPR.
