I am sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. Like you, when I was first diagnosed with Globus, I did not want to believe that it was related to anxiety. After several months of trying to find another explanation, I was forced to accept the fact that it is. Two years later, I still struggle with this problem. The episodes tend to flare up during times of stress, and I experience the worst symptoms such as vomiting, choking sensations, not being able to eat, and constant nausea.
Some things that help me are chewing/sucking on something during an episode, drinking calming tea, taking L-Theanine tablets, speaking with a psychologist, and taking medication from my doctor. It’s the craziest thing that I’ve ever had happen to me, and I wish there was a way to make it stop. I wouldn’t wish Globus upon my worst enemy.
Just know, it does get better eventually. I can’t say if it will ever go away completely, but it will get better. Please keep us updated on your journey with this illness, and I wish you the best of luck.

Oh I see yea it's so hard to explain to people...I find yes if a bad day of stress it's worse also weather seems to make it worse like if it's a cloudy day so then I was thinking allergies...also same if I chew gum I feel a little better. You keep in touch to let me know how it's going...
