Throat Infection - 4 months

I'm a male age 35. About 4 months ago I noticed I was having trouble swallowing. My throat felt tight and sometimes it was worse than others. When I looked in my mouth there was red inflamation/lumps in the back of my throat with only a couple white specs on them. the doctor thought strep and prescribed antibiotics which I thought was helping a little but in the end seems to have not really done anything. They tested for strep but it came back negative. I was given one more round of antibiotics to no avail. I now am scheduled for an ENT in a few weeks.

Any ideas what this might be? I am starting to think it might be some strain of HPV or something. Picture below (too big to attach).

You should follow up immediately with an ear . throat and nose specialist. It may benign a lump or a malignant one. Don't waste any more time with your general physician.
