Throat problems

So, I'm back.

I published a topic a few months ago about my anxiety amongst other things.

Now I have issues with my throat.

I didn't think much of it over the summer when I had a shooting pain go from under the left side of my jaw, to the base of my skull, up to the top of my head like someone poked me with an ice pic.

That only happened once. Soon after that, I began to have problems sleeping because I felt like there was a lump in my throat.

I immediately went to an ENT in Manhattan hoping theres be some quick fix seeing as that they see stuff like this every day, right?

Wrong...his quick fix was to put me on Zantac due to some esophageal irritation from acid reflux.

I began to take those pills as instructed and the lump feeling was getting slightly better but the glands under my jaw would hurt every now and then.

Then the weirdest thing began to happen.

I'd get a popping sensation mostly on the right side of my throat every time I would turn my head to the left.

I made a second visit to the ENT who told me to keep taking the pills.

I then paid a visit to my primary ( who is pretty new with me) who told me to visit a gastroenterologist as I've exhausted my options with an ENT and she didn't feel any swelling of my glands.

She also changed me from Zantac to Prilosec ( Omeprazole) because according to her it focuses on the throat.

Things hot worse from there.

Not only is it close to impossible to get a quick appointment with a good doctor who takes your coverage.

I begain to feel pain in the upper back which would radiate down to both sides of my chest.

That, accompanied with a pain on my right abdomen. ( Now I realize it may have been Galbladder issues)

It got so bad that I had to get taken to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack in the middle of a weekend I was away.

ER rules out heart, with blood tests, an XRay and EKG.

I focused and realized, the attacks would become more prominent when I would eat bacon, or pineapple, oranges.

I realized it was Omeprazole causing the pain and possible gallbladder issues so O stopped taking it.

Saw the Gastroenterologist who checked my throat with a stethoscope and had ne sip water to hear the pop.

He heard it and brought back some sanity.

Told me it might be a diverticula in my throat and wanted to do an endoscopy.

Did an endoscopy and an esophogram.

Both came back normal ( Whatever that means)

Popping still persisted so I returned for a follow up visit to my gastroenterologist who out of all the doctors seemed tobe legitimately interested in helping me.

He sent me for a sonogram of my throat and a catscan to check my thyroid for nudules.

Test came back from the lab stating I have either a 4.5 cm or cm nodule on my ththyroid and a fleshy patch between the left side of my throat and behind my tongue.

So I was advised by my gastroenterologist to see an endocrinologist and another ENT.

endocrinologist saw my results and was baffled at the labs typing of cm or mm.

Thinks they should biopsy the nodule if it is cm. Lab told them they'd fix the typo and give them Revised results.

Still haven't heard back from them.

Visited another ENT who for some stupid reason worked in the same office as the first ENT due to my coverage

but sounded promising since his specialty was swallowing troubles.

He saw the botched results on the nodule and assured me that 4.5 CM would show up on the catscan. He then checked my throat with a camera and had me perform different vocal exercises to test my vocal chords and throat muscles.

Everything was normal according to him and he put me on Famotidine 20mg for three months.

Since I've been off Omeprazole, the lump in the feeling has gotten worse when I would lay down and the popping sensation seems to alternate between the right and left side of my throat when swallowing.

Still predominantly the right side when my head is turned left. My throat also feels like it hurts out on the right side at times when swallowing.

The ENT told me that the popping is the hyoid bone and that it's normal.

How is something I never felt before normal?.

I also told him about pain that I would get in the tips of my collarbone when exerting myself and some pain around the hyoid bones location. He told me to stay away from touching my throat, take tylonol for the pain and gave me a strict diet of certain things to stay away from over the course of three months.

He diagnosed me what's called Globus sensation or Globus pharyngis.

Since then I feel like some things have gotten better while others have gotten worse.

The lump in the throat feeling isnt as bad when lying down but has now been replaced with a sensation of an air pocket in my throat which I feel the need to burp after feeling it gurgle.

The popping no happens on both sides when ever it wants to and theres a new pain that not only happens in the glands under my jaw as well as this scary new sensation pain that goes from underneath my jaw up to the join by my ear and sometimes causes headaches on the side of my head.

Both gastroenterologist and Ent ruled out cancer but the symtomes make me feel like they're wrong.

That brings me here hoping someone can give me piece of mind of what to do next.

I feel like I'm slowly wasting away and running out of time. The symptoms have only gotten worse.

Crazy thoughts like parasites in my throat, a bloated blood vessel or cancer in my salivary glands haunt me every day.

Or theres something wrong with my hyoid.

I'd forgotten to mention about a year and a half ago this guy at a friends party was talking to me about the kwon do and decided it was a good idea to put his hand around the front of my throat and squeeze.

This in turn caused a popping sensation when swallowing and slight pain which was gone in a month.

it's now a year and a half later.

What the heck should I do next???

Do I see a third ENT about the hyoid?

Should I get an xray of my throat??

I'm so lost and I keep thinking I'm never gonna get an answer.
