Throbbing Dizziness What Is It? Advice Please???

The last week I've had this dizzy/whoozy feeling like when I stand up or walking, sometimes even sitting like I'm off balance or feel like my head feels pressure. When I lay down on my right side, I can feel this really ticklish sensation in my left ear. I have to hold my nose and blow to pop but it doesn't always help.
I'm 31, female, Hypothyroid and PCOS. I don't drink or smoke, 10lbs over weight, no active (work at home all day on the computer). Now, I suffer with severe health anxiety and depression. For 5 months I was on 80mg Slow Release Propranolol, and then I started to cut down on fast release, starting with 40mg, and then a couple weeks ago I was on only 10mg. Then, last weekend, I was having a rough time, so went back up to 10mg 2 times a day (20mg), so not sure if that has caused it to come back on again?
I had lightheaded spells for a few months, seen doctor a few times, can't remember, think they said stuff about ears or something else, but I'm very distressed, as I keep worrying maybe it's a heart problem? I went to 3 different doctors this week who all listened to my heart and took my temperature and blood pressure, all said my heart was normal and BP too.
So I'm worried about Heart problems, blood clots, brain tumours, and so on, it's terrifying me, I can't sleep properly with worry, and thinking the worst.
I have PCOS so my periods are irregular as well, and had them end of November, went for a week and are now back, and had bleeding last 2 weeks, so not sure if that is contributing to some of the factors here also?
Please I need advice on this, I'm really scared. I can't do normal things because I'm scared, when I go out shopping, I get bouts of it, sometimes it comes on, but as soon as I get home and am trying to relax, it hits me and continues.

why were you put on the propranolol? I ask because I take it for vestibular migraine, which can cause the symptoms that u are having. If I go down much below 40mg, I start getting more dizzy symptoms.

I was originally put on it to help with the physical symptoms of my anxiety, and they helped to a degree. Then I started to reduce my dose as I wanted to come off and try combat it myself. I was taking 10mg last week, but then I took an extra dose to 20mg this week, and have gone back to 10mg one dose today.

So propranolol at high enough dose controlled the anxiety, and now you've reduced to low dose and dizziness came on. Dizzinesscan be a sign of anxiety, but inner ear issues can cause these symptoms as well. Perhaps see Dr just to rule out an inner ear issue. That said- what were your initial anxiety symptoms? did they ck your thyroid? some with hypothyroidism who have hashimotos can swing into a hyper phase with meds. even those whose tsh looks good with meds can have palpitations and jitters on meds. and the pcos inherently elevates testosterone, which can do the same. I'd recommend finding a good endocrinologist to work with. I don't know how long you've been on thyroid meds, but propranolol can actually mask hyper symptoms.

Thank you for that, I will discuss with my doctor about m Hypothyroid and about this medication. Hopefully within the next week or two I should be completely weened off the Propranolol.
