Thrush related sexual health question- please help!

Hi,

I've recently been diagnosed with thrush and I know you can, in theory, pass this on through sexual intercourse, but I was wondering if it can also be passed on through other sexual activity.

I recently had a sexual encounter where my partner and I 'dry humped' (sorry for use of graphic word, wasn't sure how to word it) through clothing and wondered whether it was possible to pass it this way as well?
