Thumb problem after being hit by cricketball

I was playing cricket for my local team and went to catch the cricket ball .It was hit quite hard at the lower part of my thumb i could not move it and it had no feeling for 2 minuted but after that i could move the thumb then eventually the fingers after 3 or so minutes. The thumb was sore for the rest of the day and one day on i get occasional periods of slight splintering pain towards the middle of the thumb and quite apparent aching in the lower thumb. i dont think its serious but i thought i should post this just incase. There is no bruising and no swelling and there is always a tingling feeling in the background.

Maybe you should consiter soaking your hand in Epsome salt to releave the ache.
