Thumb Surgery

Posted , 5 users are following.

Beats me how some people obviously profiting from potions and lotions get to recommend substances on this site, patients have been sent for surgery for a reason, same person posting lotions as though he's just started taken it pain free no meds needed, thought we've moved on from witch doctors.

Had both thumbs done now, painful at first but 12 months down the line pain free , and would recommend surgery if your really struggling.

Ps I've now had 7 joint replacements and had all the meds , but when you've got degenerative arthritis of your joints surgery should alliveate athritis in the troublesome joints.

Good luck to everyone with arthritis

Such a painful disease

You are obviously directing your comment to me Woody. How do you get off making accusations like that? How do I profit from telling others when they ask me by private message what products I use?

It seems to me you have a touching faith in what doctors tell you. I probably saved my life by ignoring advice I was given by a specialist ....but that's another story.

It seems to me that you are very keen on surgery. Most others would exhaust all other options first and use surgery as a last resort.

And for your information, today marks exactly two months since I have stopped taking pain killers since I started taking the beef gelatin. I don't have zero pain but the pain is manageable and doesn't require painkillers

Why don't you do your own research instead of blindly trusting doctors?

Surgery always is a last option, after you've been prescribed steroids cream etc, as for your pain being managed good on you , suggest your arthritis isn't as bad as most requiring surgery , I trust my Drs and specialist because that's there job , gained knowledge after many years of studying to be in there chosen professional career

As for liking surgery nobody likes it but the results almost always far out weigh the pain from before surgery.

You stick to pushing your potions, there's always somebody gullible enough to think they will work, whereas the real fact is they wont.

Hey Woody, my success with non surgical means seems to threaten you. Why is that?

You push surgery so hard I'm starting to think that you must be getting a kickback from the Society of Surgeons. Please tell me it ain't so. Lol

      Just swapping wild accusations here.

      Cheers

Get a real kick back from society of surgeons who do an amazing job, unfortunately potions and notions don't work for OA seems funny but your posts keep getting deleted, wonder why ? You need to stop giving false hope to people awaiting surgery , who in U.K. If you knock back your surgery date get taken off the waiting list and have to suffer more pain . Suggest you move your potions on Haiti site where you could probably have more success.

Now that you mention it Woody, I think some are deleted because a certain person who just loves to get carved up by surgeons may have complained about them. You seem to have a real bee in your bonnet about non surgical interventions.

All im doing is telling people what worked for me. I'm not going to be bullied into silence by a pom who idolizes  surgeons and who is obsessed by surgery. You can rant as much as you like Woody but you're not going to shut me up.

I'm not campaigning about the benefits of gelatin. My last two posts before you started this thread were a 1 month update, and a 2 month update yesterday. Hardly campaigning. I don't care what you say but two months without painkillers is very significant. Before that I had to take 4-6 paracetamol/codeine painkillers a day for years.

I've had two months without painkillers Woody. Why does that make you angry?

I agree with you. If you have OS or any related problems, you can put tubs and tubs of gunk on the affected parts, and you know what, it will not make any difference, at all, as you say, it is a gimmick and lining their own pockets, profiteering from the folk who has OS, giving them false promises. Fraudsters.

Peter, it didn't make any difference to you but that doesn't mean that it doesn't make any difference to EVERYONE. It works for some and not for others. I happen to be one of the ones it works for. By telling others what worked for me doesn't make me a fraudster....bit of a flaw in your logic buddy. Do you really think that if I found something that worked for me I should keep it to myself?

For the record I was diagnosed with severe arthritis ....that's what the Radiologists report said anyway.

I work full time in my property business .....I'm not going to waste my time trying to make a few pennies by flogging product.

If it didn't work for everyone then nobody would buy it.

      Please stop making wild accusations.

Thats fine, with your comments, it is a view of your opinion. I have been

prognosed with osteoarthritis in my lower vertebra and in both hips, and i have tried every type of medicine apart from surgery to ease the cronic pain i have to endure every day for the past 5 years, and nothing has worked. I am having phyiso from my local hospital to see how i react to the curcuit routine at their gym, and as i can not take any pain relief due to side effects, it is very hard on me, and hopefully i`ll be able to walk properly and dress myself without anyones help, pain free.

I was just saying to Woodywhite in context, to him on how i see it, so i`m very supprised that you have replied to my post that was my view, to give me a lecture.
