Thumb twitching help please is this fluoxetine

I need reassurance more than anything I am sat driving myself crazy, one of my thumbs is twitching really twitching moving on it's own, I am massively worried that it's something bad and something is guna happen and I'm on my own with my kids. I've been on fluoxetine for a week after sertraline for over a year could it be this??? Thanks

    Have you tried drinking lots of water. Dehydration can cause muscle spasms and twitching and anxiety has been linked to dehydration.

      Really? No I haven't drunk much at all with me being on a constant worry it's just one hand and like spasms in the hand and twitching thumb I will definitely try this x thankyou x

      Ya and see that happens people tend to get mixed up in how they feel and don't consume enough water and then their symptoms feel worse. Trust me I did this over the weekend and after I drank a ton of water I felt a million times better. Update me and let me know if this helps.

    Sounds like a pinched nerve. Nothing more and nothing sinister. It will self correct itself.
