hi help I am having hard Thumping palpitations my heart rate is high when moving takes ages to come back down in do have a chest infection at the moment and are on antibiotics does anyone else have theses symptoms

no chest pain but have copd so have shortness of breath anyway but it's no worsee than normal

I think chest infections can raise your pulse as your body is working hard to fight the infection. If you get any chest pains or breathing problems or something feels wrong, get in touch with your doctor though. It is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your lungs and heart.
