Thyroid

I have good news I have no heart murmur found out that my TSH level is a little overactive .5 .4 is overactive so my doctors nurse is cutting down my levothyroxine to 100mcg four times a day and 112 three times a day to cut it back slowly and to slow the thyroid down a little bit.

Thats what was giving me my palpitations

    Hi Susan

elevated TSH is underactive thyroid ... ( hypothyroidism) .......Not overactive ..

    Hence your thyroxine meds ..

Glad you have found out whats causing the palps

      Hi susan

      Hope ur feeling abit better.

I thought you put 5.4 above for your TSH.

Its 0.5 / 0.4 did you put .. Couldnt see the tiny dot ( point) until i noticed it on another post.

Thats not bad 0.5 any less raises alarms.

Your on alot of thyroxine a day, no wonder you suffering.

      Hope all calms soon

      Jay x

I put 0.5 that was my thyroid level.

My doctor said 0.4 would be overactive so I was close to it being overactive
