    Hi Latoya,

I can understand your worries, i had a 4cm nodule removed in march 2018, thankfully it was benign, so fingers crossed for you that yours is too. I am a huge needle-phobic, and was in tears prior to the actual needle biopsy. During the biopsy it was all ok, no pain as they give you a local anaesthetic first, you just feel a little movement, but no pain. Unfortunatley my biopsy results came back inconclusive so I had to have surgery to remove the nodule, which was also ok, recovery was very quick. Wishing you all the best, try not to stress too much-i know harder said than done! x

Nodules are very common ,20% of the people have them , most of them are just nodules . 2% of the world population have papillary cancer which is the slowest growing , could take a lifetime to become a problem , it's almost classified as benign .usually it's not recomended to be removed if it's less than 10mm , mine was 7mm.
