      Hi Julie

I didn't no if that could cause it. I think I have the under under active. I just read up on the net I felt rubbish for a long time. But just been hospt today for my 7 week check up after my op and I told him how I feel so Iam starting a low dose of hrt. It said that will help. Are they going to offer you any treatment ? X

Can I ask you why you don't won't hrt if you don't mind. It's just a lot of lady's say. I didn't won't it before but I just feel so rubbish and felt I need to give it a try.

      Good look for tomorrow x

    Hi Julie

I'v yet to have my full hysterectomy (this Friday 9th) but I do have an underactive thyroid.  This started around the time of my natural menopause, and I think this can often be the case.

Ah yes, it is genetic.  My neice and cousin have it.  I think my daughter has it but tests aren't showing it yet, and I think my mum had it.  I'm sure the specialist will sort you out on Thursday (tomorrow?).  I've been underactive for about 8 years now and am fine.

What sort of op did you have for your hysterectomy and how did you feel afterwards - if you don't mind me asking?

      xxx Kathy
