I wake up hot,  then half an hour later I get chills, especially if it is cold outside.  I do take a thyroid supplement, but my thyroid tests out OK with the supplements I take.

I have Raynaud's syndrome which seems to go along with everything else.  If I get into the warm water pool at the gym, my hands turn quite blue after 20 minutes. So I no longer do that.

Solutions: put on more clothes or turn up the heat.  I usually do both: turn up the heat- not the whole house, just a couple of rooms.  And I purchased fleece "loungers" in various thicknesses.

This also works:  alcohol.  Alcohol opens up your small veins and arteries.  Trouble is I don't want wine for breakfast or lunch, and by evening everything is warmer so I don't need it.  Also wine for one person is hard to do.

Congrats on no pain and 1 mg! Nice to hear!!

I get chills if I'm dehydrated.

Also, when you get chilled, might be good time to do some short exercise stints.

I do have slight hypothyroidism. I'm on Armour but this was before PMR.

But my Rheumy put me on Armour which I was so happy about! My Primary doc will not for anything!
