Thyroid storm

it's me again. I haven't been on in a while. After being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism I am so scared of thyroid storm. I Don't want to die. I have so many horrible symptoms with the thyroid. my levels were at 60 when checked last time and I'm absolutely terrified that this is high. I've been on medication the last almost 4 weeks. pls can someone reassure me. I've had symptoms like feeling faint and numbness. and feeling of heaviness and lightness in my body at the same time. pls help

    sorry you are feeling that way. It’s important that you try to relax because any amount of anxiety is going to worsen the symptoms.

    overthinking and worry or not helpful. I know it’s not easy to do that but you have to be firm with yourself. Make sure you were keeping busy enough so that you’re not constantly thinking about this. Listen to relaxing music or meditations. Those are not a cure but at least they can help you relax.

    do you have family or friends that you can spend time with so that you have some happy time?

    you’re going to be OK. Maybe talk to a counselor for some support. Just take one day at a time and do things to calm your mind. Take care of yourself
