thyroxine dose

Hi, I have had underactive thyroid since my twenties and I am now in my fifties, my old GP said I was very sensitive to Thyroxine, even a small increase eg 25 shows much higher than it should with my bloods. I am so fed up as they can never get me on the correct dose. I am ok for a few weeks then start getting symptoms, tried upping on alternate days to. Ive got headache and palpatations today, heart rate is 105 which is high for me all usual symptoms, anybody else sensitive? any recommendatios welcome,
