13 weeks after my tibia rod and ankle surgery surgery i rehab my self in gym but still pain in my knee on the rod area this is normal or i need more exercise..

i still have leg pain after my surgery while weight bearing. almost 4 months ago. i had orif surgery after a spiral fracture tibia. slowing healing. im super discouraged right now so if you find any answers please let me know. 😦

This will take time. I am one year post surgery for a trimalleolar fracture. This has been a very long road no getting around it. I'm having metal removed in 2 weeks and can't wait. Will be in boot and more pt but it's worth it. Don't be hard on yourself this kind of injury takes a long time to get better.

Hi,
I'd say if you're getting pain, you need to take it easy on yourself. Do more gentle exercises until the pain eases.

yesterday i go to the gym and play the running &walking machine while i am playing that machine i feels like pain in the center of my knee but before i feel like small pain but now i feels like mo bigger pain it is ok walking to running machine..without scruntches
