All you hear is negative in this site well I have changed to tibolene from elleste , I went into an early menoouase at 37 I am 53 and switch as I had low moods and low esteem, since changing well what can I say great upper moods sex drive great was always ok that mind over matter as need to make efforts , my skin hair fab I am 53 look 43 and have loads of energy BUT and yes a big but you have to accept we do get aches pain after a certain age and feel more tired and hrt not a miracle drug, you also have to cut out alcohol eat a healthy diet excercise and then you will feel the benefits of HRT , Yes some HRT do give side affects but I do feel this drug is fantastic and all my friend who are older than me look amazing on it but they also lead a healthy lifestyle which will help too especially in woman no alcohol great web site sobaritis to help you , comes a time you have to live a different life from your early days .

Over 70s have to eat healthily, walk daily, check their bloods etc annually, and take as little medication as possible - but if something suits you and helps you live a quality life then go for it. Oh, and I do have a couple of wines for 'Happy Hour' each evening.

thing that can happen to a woman, and I am happy to hear that
at 73 you are still on it. Yes, we over 70 have to be very careful
with food and of course exercise, as much as possible, ...........
but at least we are looking better and healthier than our
grandmothers.............All the Best to you!! G

I am new to the site. I am 40 and have been going through the menopause since 35. I was put on elleste duet initially. I had no symptoms other than hot flushes and not sleeping and no periods. which was initially how going through the menopause was detected. I had very good response from them, felt better in myself because I was getting sleep and the hot flushes stopped, but a year in and they came back. I struggled on for quite and while but then went back to GP who switched me to elleste conti. I stayed on it for 3 months as I had dreadful pins and needles in my legs which coincided with a hot flush. So he switched me back to duet. I didn’t get the flushes so bad for a while so continued on it. My GP had told me there isn’t a great deal of hrt for early menopause as you need testosterone, estrogen and progesterone. He sent me to the gynea clinic who had prescribed tibolene. I’ve been on it for 2 weeks and the hot flushes are 100 times worse my face is wet with sweat all night which is giving me spots and up until now I had fantastic skin, and I’m not sleeping great. I haven't got any other symptoms like mood swings its just the hot flushes. Do you think I should continue with these or go back to GP? I'm really struggling Help or thoughts please

First time I had a heavy bleed and had to go off to check for other causes for bleed - was all clear - but in the time off the HRT I wnet down really badly and felt hopeless and sad not to mention all the symptoms too many to mention.
2nd time around and been on it a month and already feel like a new person - energentic and happy again yes - love this stuff - just hope I dont get the heavy bleed again around 3 months - do not want to stop this wonderdrug again.
Try to eat clean and stay active in mind and body, this will help the time go by.
This site is just amazing for support, keep us posted.

I think and don't take this as me judging , women reach an age were alcohol has not health benefits what so ever ,I used to drink like we all do but I am off over 8 years now keep fit eat healthy well I do eat chocolate ice cream we all have our vices but truly alcohol not great for women on the menopause , I think when we young a great party boost but to much socialising revolves around drinking and having a good time .

Well I've now got to repost that I've been taken off it. Was suicidal, have never felt so awful in all my life. Pleased to say things are ok now and am on solo with tablets to bring on a period.
