tickling neck at night

This is going to sound weird, and quite abnormal. I've been suffering from extremely sensitive neck and it's tickling at night when I try to sleep. I've had this since i was a child and not understanding the problem, no one else in my family has it. Lately, I cannot sleep for many nights because it's gotten worse. It always feels ticklish almost every second and it's impossible to fall asleep. Please I need help or advise.
