Tietze syndrome pains

Hi I was diagnosed with Tietze syndrome last week as iv had really bad shooting pains on my left breast and breast bone swollen, the pain goes down to my arms very painful! It honestly feels like I’m having a heart attack with the pains it’s every day! I had a ecg and all blood acount done 4months ago and all came back fine.. this pain is ruining my life die sit ever go away? I’m on naproxen. Thanks

    Hi Natasha. I know just how you feel. Some people are lucky and it does go into remission. Just try and rest when you can avoid vigorous exercise and try not too lift anything heavy. Fingers crossed that your pain soon eases 🤞

    So sorry you're dealing with this annoying condition. I know exactly how you feel. have you tried Gabapentin yet? It helps alot. Also, Arnica gel helps with pain from inflammation. Taking a bath in Epson salt can help as well. Have you been to a pain management specialist? Accupuncture is very helpful as well. Hang in there. It gets better I promise!!!!!

    Hi Natasha,

    i am having shooting pains in my breast today, doc diagnosed costo last year ans i had ecgs done etc. I have asthma so cannot take anti nflammatories, i take paracetamol and it doesnt touch the sides. this is my 3rd episode in 14 months and for me has lasted around 3 weeks each time, this time it has come on rather aggressivly and i am umable to work, Im not sure of the difference between costo and tietze? i just know today its unbearable sad
