Tight foreskin of penis
Posted , 4 users are following.
Foreskin of penis is tight and it frequently gets swollen. Most of the time it starts itching and when I do that it gets swollen. Whenever I get into sexual intercourse, it bleeds or becomes red. Please suggest me what should I do and how can I recover from this.

If you're talking about circumcision, that's rarely necessary, and in Europe at least, is only performed as a last resort.
Your friend might be happy to be circumcised, but many men aren't. Pubmed 17155977 is a study of 255 men circumcised when they were 20 or older, and found that "About 6% answered that their sex lives improved, while 20% reported a worse sex life after circumcision."

You need to talk with a doctor. Circumcision. The swelling will go down in 2 to 3 weeks. No sex of any kind for 6 weeks. But all men heal different. You may not need it but if your problem get's worst. you don't want that. I'm in US I'm circumcise and so are my sons. Easier to clean My father was born in 1917 and he was cut to. It may help but go see the doctor Time will tell Take care Ken

Female genitals are harder to clean than male genitals, and females have way more problems down there, but we don't cut parts off baby girls. Hygiene is about washing, not surgery. Personally, I'd pay a year's salary rather than be circumcised. That little bit of skin makes a bit difference.

How old are you, and how much can you retract your foreskin when you're soft and when you're erect?
It might be something you can fix with stretching, and a steroid cream from a doctor may help. Surgery is sometimes required, which can be preputioplasty, a dorsal slit, or circumcision.

I would see a GP first, but seeing a urologist would be better, as their the specialists in this area.
If you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.
If you could update this thread and tell us what the doctors say, it would be appreciated. Good luck.
