Tight frenulum when erect

I've noticed I have a shorter than average frenulum that kind of pulls on the glans when I'm erect. It's not painful but I'm worried it might tear during sex. Are there any non surgical options?

    Dear skip,

"The proof of the pudding is in its eating"! So no-one apart from you can be the judge of whether you need surgery for a tight foreskin.

I know some people have tried stretching exercises with variable results.

And wearing a condom and using lube for sex will help, at least initially.

    Good luck,

Stretching exercises might be worth trying. I just mean I don't want to have it removed...

Also it isn't my foreskin that is tight just the frenulum might be too short.

My views are as above; however there is a surgical procedure called frenuloplasty (Google) that can spare you from circumcision but you won't know if you need it until/unless the issue reveals itself when you have sex.
