tight ring of skin preventing erections

i occasionally have a tight ring of skin halfway up my penis shaft that seems to prevent erections. what is it?

    This is relatively unusual: you would need to have a surgical Urologist sort this for you. It may be relatively straight forward to do, but you need to have the specialist knowledge of the Urologist as otherwise you may end up causing a severe problem later in life.

    If you cannot go to a Urologist directly, see your Regular / Family Doctor / GP first and they will refer you to one

    If you are resident in the UK you can go to a GUM Clinic at a local General Hospital

      i don't think it's terribly serious, as it only happens occasionally... seemingly related to my digestion and bloat level at the time

      this is my typical size and shapeimage

      My advice would be to see a Urologist as there is no way of knowing what this could develop into ......
