Tight stomach is it IBS?!

hi guys,

For the last 2 nights I've had a tight feeling on the left of my stomach and sometimes around it only really happens when I'm lying down at night or trying to go sleep. I sometimes feel hungry with it but I'm not. I do get a bit of wind too.

Also I've had constipation aswell for the last 10 days or something like that and I am going but only once a day don't know if that's why.

Anyone else experienced this I do have IBS and getting tested for Celiac Disease too. (had a few minor pains around my stomach too) but not painful!

hi nay, i don't really suffer from the tightness but ibs yes, when you say stomach you mean where? many people who are dim (you know the people i mean) mean ABOVE the belly button when referring their bowel, if it's there they need help! does it feel like a twisting, if so that could well be ibs related, a knot or twist i think can be treated with buscopan or something similar, your chemist will advise you better, as this seems like a spasm. i would ask a chemist, they may know better. good luck!

forgot to say for the constipation are you either taking laxatives to help or on a high fibre diet? also is it possible you've pulled something?
