I experienced similar symptoms two years ago, I was diagnosed with lpr -a silent reflux. I never had symptoms lower down in the gastrointestinal tract. I also felt lump in the throat and pain on the right side of the throat.

I saw ent and had a barium swallow and panendoscopy which both showed reflux. I started taking ppi omeprazole 20mg morning and night.

It is typical for symptoms to be worse in the morning with this condition.

I was okay for 2 years and now I have started having other throat symptoms.

Hi. Thanks for replying. Do you remember how long you has the symptoms and how long it took to feel better after taking the omeprazole? Also what were your exact symptoms? Sorry for so many questions, its no one can figure this out. I may need to see an ENT doctor. I hope your current throat issues clear up soon and you get to feeling better.

Have you looked into LPR/silent reflux? Apart from the lymph nodes, I was getting all of your symptoms. I have now reduced my acid intake of food and drink and take Gaviscon Advance before bed and things have improved significantly.
