Tightness in chest and arms, what is this?

For over a year I've been having episodes where I feel a tight constricting feeling in my chest which projects outward into my arms and even face, accompanied by a tingling sensation. Overall it's similar to a charlie-horse/muscle cramp where the muscles constrict and don't want to relax again. It seems to be accompanied by a light-headed feeling as though my blood is depleted (like a loss of sugar after heavy exercise). These episodes last about three minutes but the bad ones can last up to ten, and always seem to occur at times of rest rather than exertion of any kind. A stress-echo test showed no heart disease according to my doctor. I am a 52 year old male in good physical condition. Has anyone experienced these symptoms or knows what this is?
