Sounds like osteoarthritis-the gift that just keeps giving you crap! Osteo arthritis is very common but is not NORMAL. Many people believe it is a result of getting older-it is not.

There is a whole range of infliction-from morning stiffness to disability. Most joint replacements are done to treat OA. OA is called the wear & tear arthritis but there is likely other components to the disease that they haven't discovered yet.

Some pointers. KEEP MOVING. I know sounds stupid when you hurt but it really does make a difference. Lose weight, watch what you eat. Some foods seem to bring on symptoms. Stay away from sugar, processed foods. Some people are bothered by dairy & nightshades (tomatoes, eggplant ect) Get use to pain. Stay away from opiods & tramadol. Only a coma truley takes the pain away . Pain meds might actually make pain worse. Heat & ice is one of your best friends. Nobody dies from OA 😃 Best of luck to ya

    hi there

I have terrible back problems and the only thing that seems to help is being in water. The swimming pool is becoming my best friend. Medication not that helpful for me..., age 55. I agree with the other post. Best to sort out your own way of dealing with it...I wish I could!

If you find anything that truly helps, do reply please!
