I had a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy on May 20th. When I'm laying in bed it sometimes feels like I have an elastic band across my stomach even though I don't. Is this normal?

Mine was not through the vagina but it was robotic and I had a bunch of small incisions. I would feel something like that especially lying on my back. A year later I still feel it if I have a waistband that's even a bit snug.

yes it's when I lay on my back. I'm constantly checking to make sure my waistband isnt really there .. Thank you now I dont feel so crazy
