how much time off work do people find they need after haemorrhoidectomy? i am a property manager at a real estate and concerned about time off

ok time off work... right now I had surgury 2nd time and have been off 2 weeks almost 3. typically its 4 weeks... now if you live in Canada I'll give you an insight $$$
second if you dont want banding when you see your surgeon complain and scream to high heaven because they wont do it if your in pain that's typically why they want to do it under general anesthesia.
but in a surgeon's mind it's all about doing it without surgery so they offer pills, banding etc.
but banding is a rough road and typically you have to do it more then once and the pain is HIGH
same with surgery and it's all about how you care for your body after... Message me let me know how it goes.
I am also seeing my surgery today as I have developed an issue this time around.
good luck

i was off from doing yard work 8 days. but it help alot .after you get it done do alot of walking easy ok. everyday that goes by you heal up very fast with in 8 days your going too notice it very fast. youll start itching but you know your on your way i had it done 2 years ago and today i feel great. make sure you drink mirlax and eat fruit drink alot of water .no pop or caffen ok.eat alotof good food fruites salads, things liker that and fiber also well . so when you have too go bathroom it pays off , don,t push it out ok let it come out on its own and if you have a shower letr the shower clean you up.very very import do not wip for a week or soi din,t for 3 weeks and i let the shower clean me up . and i tell you i bet my butt was as clean it every was funny but it,s true. good luck surgry takes like 20 minutes.

I think you'll find this very subjective. I was back to "normal" within 14 days BUT I had a fantastic recovery experience. I think those with a poor recovery would tell you it takes longer.
