ive just been referred to colonretal surgeon to have my internal haemorrhoids removed ive heard and read some stories but i still think its worth a try. ive just been also diagnosed with ibs and gluten intolerant which wouldn't of helped my bowels over time i would imagine.

but ill give anything a go, im sick of the pain when it begins to protrude and the bleeding is practically constant most mornings now

i work in catering & stores at my local hospital , so im on my feet all day which doesn't help, but what is recovery time after the procedure (i know everyone can be different)

Everyone will be different... but most grade 1 and 2 hemorrhoid removals can see full recovery in as little as a 4 weeks, HOWEVER, this is subject to following post operative care instructions and the individual.

This area simply takes a long time to heal.

I would suggest you take a minimum of 2 weeks from work.

Being on your feet is far better than having to sit.

HYDRATION is very important and the heat compress or sitz baths are very helpful in the beginning. That said, internal removal seems to have a much better outcome than external hemorrhoid removal, in my experience.

i actually find it quite painful by mid day stood up but i think as the day goes on the haemorrhoids are protruding which is very uncomfortable and sitting down eases the pain and once im home from my shift i have a soak in the bath with epsom salts and it helps alot
