So...After having been signed off work for most of last October due to parasthesia and exhaustion, I found out that because my working hours actually fell just below the required 16 per week, prior to becoming ill, that I did not qualify for sick pay. Skint and now out of work after losing patience with my co-workers and having a row with my boss. ....I have a mortgage am a single mother of 3 and I'm also a full-time student. I don't know where my life is going to take me next. I'm trying to stay in control.😏

Hi Emma, sorry to hear what has happened to you. You need to claim ESA ASAP. Then at least you will have some income. Also look into what other benefits you may be eligible for. I get pip, lower rate for daily living, higher rate for mobility. And ESA, support group. Look at gov.uk for guidance. Good luck. x

Sorry to here about you situations. You may look it getting temporary assistance from the government. I know you are trying to do your best but something we need a little help. I worked full-time and only had one child and has be off work for 3 months with all my bills. I'm a nurse. I had to get pride out the way. Fill papers with DHS and get assistance. When I got better I didn't need it I went back to work time. I only need assistance for 2 mobths. I hope this helps. I have some many right now I can't work but husband work and we have a family of 5 so I understand your situation either way. God bless. I pray for you and your family.
