Tingling/burning/stinging/cold sensations all over my body. what could it be?

I feel since a week or so weird stinging , tingling, burning and cold stings through my entire body. It happens everywhere. Top of head, face, arms, fingers, torso, legs, toes.. You get it. Everywhere.

It's hard to describe but the feelings change each time. Some time it itches. The other time I feel a cold spot appear. Another time it burns and then it stings. It's really frightening. It can happen in one place. But then it also can happen in multiple locations at the same time. The sensations only last for a second or so. Sometimes a little longer but they're short.

I've been to the doctor and he said it might have to do something with stress or hyperventilation.

They're doing blood tests at the moment to see if I might have something.

Reading online, doesn't do me any good because that tells me I have MS.

Anyone who has experienced this or knows what it could be.

Thanks in advance.

hi i have had this dreadful condition for almost 5 years. Your symptoms are so like mine that it could be me yr talking about. I was also dismissed as it just been stress. This led me to being denied essential support as everyone thought i was going mad . After seeing 6 neurologists, the seventh finally diagnosed me two years ago with a non length dependent small fibre neuropathy. Also with central sensitisation. There is no treatment except painkillers. Look this up. You will find it matches yr symptoms. It hits one in a million.

    Take lots of care x

Hey I am currently experiencing the exact same issues. It's been going on for almost a year. I have been to many ERs, seen specialists but absolutely no answer. I am just trying to not panic and just deal with it and try to live a normal life. No one is able to relate so I stopped telling family and friends about what I'm experiencing and just try to act normal.
