Tingling in my hands when I breathe in

Hello, I'm new here and I have suffered from severe anxiety all my life. I have had strange symptoms in the past that have vanished, such as, drunkenness and shaking, which I believe to be anxiety related. This morning, I have noticed that whenever I breathe in there is tingling in my hands. Can anyone help me with this issue?

It is common for anxiety to cause feelings of numbness and tingling. This can occur almost anywhere on the body but is most commonly felt on the face, hands, arms, feet and legs. ... It can also be caused by hyperventilation and increased oxygen intake which is particularly felt in the extremities and the face

I also get it myself x it goes away when the anxiety drops a little bit. try to just ignore it if you can and it will soon pass. try to breath as normal as possible aswell.

easier said than done I know x

There's nothing wrong with my breathing. It's whenever I breathe in normally that there is a shooting tingling feeling that goes through my hands.

it sounds like anxiety for sure it's such a normal symptom x I get it wether my breathing is normal or not.

I'm not sure what causes it but I do know it goes away.

the best thing to do is ignore it and the more you forget about it the more it goes away. so much easier said than done though. just accept it's there acknowledge it as a symptom of anxiety and it will pass. 😊

also I forgot to say. make sure your hands are nice and warm when you can because that seems to help. some people find cold water helps so give either one a try and it will help relax that feeling. give me a shout if you need 👍

do you have fluid in your lungs? is your blood pressure low? do you smoke cigarettes ? sounds like a problem with circulation. have you called your doctor? thats really the only way to know for sure what it is.

I sit for long hours with really bad posture. My father suggested that it could be that. Do you think it could be that also? In terms of nerve issues.
