Tingling in upper cheek at night, is it a parasite?

Posted , 3 users are following.

Not so often, but sometimes at night while I’m laying in bed going to sleep, i feel a weird tingling in my upper right cheek near the bridge of my nose (approx 2cm below my right eye). The tingling is not in one singular small spot, its maybe in an area of 1cm long which makes me scared of the possibility it’s some sort of face parasite/worm inside my cheek. Is this possible, or is it just a strange random tingling feeling?

I live in South Australia and I’m 17.

I can't help u with what it is but if your worried it might be something just apply iodine to the affected area & see if that either fixes it or makes it move to a different spot.

If it moves to a different spot see a doctor with your concerns

It could possibly be but it may also be nerves firing like when you get a twitch. That said, I’ve got a proliferative sparganosis and my upper back and sometimes scalp has tingling (almost like clockwork) every evening.
