Hi Kim.Yes I get this bad.Iam mostly aware of it when I wake up.Iam in surgical meno.3yrs on. Heavy aching legs pins and needles arms&hands&numb shoulder. My legs are stiff when getting out of bed and only when I get moving do things loosen.Iam on Tibilone and wonder if a side effect. Thought anxiety? Iam not overweight, healthy and just about tolerate it! Like you I probably would get fobbed off at Drs So living with it .Think it's quite common in meno, and to put mind at rest see what the Dr has to say.

Hi Kim . This is what I have plus feeling of burning like an insect sting mostly in my right leg and groin but can be everywhere . Almost every night my arms are like going to sleep . I already went through all possible tests and Ct and MRI scans . All is good . Doctors won't admit that it is perimenopause because not enough research was done and data was not published . But perimenopause could cause everything and the fact that all of us are complaining about almost same symptoms tells me that it is perimenopause related . Rgagards to you and remember that you are not alone

It happens to me too. Not just tingling but more like feeling heavy. I'm in peri too but like you doctors don't want to give me that diagnosis and want to medicate me. I've done every test too (EKG, stress test, echocardiogram, CT, ) and all "normal" .
I figure it's because I'm dehydrated during night time since I'm not drinking anything. I keep water by my bed to drink up when I wake.
I hope this helps

Yes, I have this symptom but it's getting better. I have terrible health anxiety. Your BP is great. I took mine today at one of those machines in Walmart it was 123/80. At the bottom it tells you all the terrible things you are at risk for with this blood pressure. Of course it's not taking into account that I had a work related phone call earlier that that that upset me. For Pete's sake when I have this blood pressure at my doctor she thinks it's great! Two weeks ago it was 119/77. The machine rejoiced!
We worry so during menopause. I wish there was one pill we could take that would take of the symptoms. You can bet if men had to go through this they would make that pill!
Take care and remember we're here for you.

Hi Kim, thanks for sharing. I'm going thru this too, my right foot, under it hurts so much and smtx i feel smth is happening to me but my mum tells me is menopause so i have taken my mind off it cause it's on and off and it happens especially in the night that gives me sleepless night. Same to my right hand, the palm hurts and my thumb goes numbness, it's very disturbing and much worrying

Hi Kim, you say it so well - it is real and it's hard! I get numbness in hands some nights but not sure if peri or carpal tunnel syndrome (coworker with same says carpal tunnel)... this stuff is scary, no matter what. My creepy symptom at the moment is dry mouth with sore tongue. Soooo much weirdness with this! You are not alone, keep coming back so we can support each other.

Another horrible night only about 3 hours of sleep. Symptoms made my blood pressure high I was so worried and couldn't get back to sleep.
Ugh!
