Tingling & Numbness on Fingers, On Sertraline for 7 days ! Still Very Anxious

I had a disastrous 45 days without medication combating against anxiety (Hypochondriasis) , but ultimately started Sertraline 50mg as advised by my Psychiatrist. Had 2 episodes of the same drug earlier ( years ago). The day i started Sertraline i have numbness & tingling going on & off in the fingers, which is making me more more anxious !

Anyone just can help me out ?

    I had very tingly shaky hands going onto to Sertraline and again very numb tingly fingers in the morning, when driving, reading etc now that I've just come off it. I think it's a very common side effect. Obviously if it continues you can get it checked out - could be a pinched nerve or something - but much more likely to be medication related. I was really concerned about it but it's finally worn off - took a good few weeks. Hope that helps.

      Possibly a few weeks but do talk to your doctor as well if you are worried. I did go to my doctor and a chiropractor but the tingles went after a couple of months.
