I get tingling all over my body now, feet, legs, arms, back, neck, stomach, sides of ribs ect with the odd prick feeling in my face. is this becasue of the virus? if so should i be conserned about my nervous system

Hi Megan, the tingling for me is usually a prodrome symptom. It starts when the virus starts to travel up your nerve root which then causes another outbreak.. either within hours, days, etc. If you do daily suppression it usually fades over time or lessens the tingling.. well for me at least.

its constant everyday, im just worried that if tje virus is causing it will it have cause complications long term, do i need to see someone or is this something completely unrelated that needs investagated

When you're newly infected you will tingle just about everyday. When you get on meds (if that's what you want) then with time it will start to decrease & you will be fine. I don't believe the tingling will harm you as it's just your body warning you that the virus is there. Your immune system is trying to get the virus under control & it will take time to stop it. I think it took weeks before I just couldn't handle it & got on suppressive therapy. When I did, that's when I noticed the change. It's not a right away change but it does work.

Also, even if you don't wanna take meds everyday it will still fade but it just will take more time as your immune system will have no help from the meds & will have to get it under control on it's own.. or you can take L-Lysine vitamins or something. It depends on you.
