Hi I have suffered with a strange tingling sensation in my arms and legs with a burning feeling for nearly a year now I thought it was my bp meds so changed several times. running out of med options now but someone mentioned it could be part of the menopause. it's driving me mad. anyone else have this symptom. getting desperate now . even thinking of paying thousands of pounds to see a neurologist as waiting g list o NHS is at least 15 month

Yes, I have this frequently. It's a common perimenopause symptom.

    Hi!

For me, the fewer periods I have, the more often and more intense this symptom is. I do not like it!

I have a neurologist appt for migraines in 4 weeks... if my scattered meno brain can manage to remember, I'll ask for his thoughts/experience on this.

If he has any info, I will pass it along here.

    Peace to you~

hi sara would you mind telling me what your neurologist suggests for your migraines, i was having balance issues along with other symptoms like tingling etc and iv been diagnosed with vestibular migraine, i have a headache almost every day or other symptoms that come with migraine. how are you ?

iv been put on cinnarizine and vitimins

Hi AF, sorry you are. struggling with migraines too, they are not fun!!

Just finished up trialling Imitrex, and it helped the head pain, but gave me stomach cramps equal in intensity to the head pain, so I stopped that, waiting for appt. Also, it had no impact (for me) on the vertigo or tension.

I hope to try one of the newer drugs like ubrelvy or nurtec next.

Having a really rough two weeks here, trying to get by on Fioricet and Benadryl.

How long have you been on the cinnarizine and vitamin combo? seeing any results?

      Peace to you~

hi sara thanks for your reply, i really feel for you as your migraines sound a lot worse than mine as i get more of the physical symptoms than the intense pain. iv been on cinnarizine & the vits for 14 months and they did help initially but they do upset my stomach too so im weaning off the tabs but ill carry on with vit B2 & co enzyme q10 as their recommended by the migraine trust, have you looked at their website as its full of information for the likes of us sufferers.

i hope you get some relief from the new tabs your trying. i imagine your the same with life, cant arrange anything as we dont know how our head will be.

      sending you a comforting hug

      Hi AF,

I have not been consistent with my B vitamins, and CoQ10 is very interesting... I took that for fibromyalgia-like symptoms several years ago, and come to think of it, I wasn't having as many migraine days back then...

I will check out the Migraine Trust site, thank you so so much for the tips!

How are you getting on this week?

      Take care,

      Sara

Awww, kind of a rough few weeks here~ had a small period after skipping several, and feeling kind of gross since then, honestly.

Did your latest Dr's appts give you anything new to chase down?

Hoping you're having a few good days here and there, lovely~~

      hugs to you!
