TInitus established but new behaviour

I have the high pitch in both ears but when I woke up in the morning I had a lower tone in one ear. This is different in that if I cover that ear it suppresses the tone almost as if the ear drum is PRODUCING the noise. Any ideas welcome.

I have always wondered if we may have lime a little sliver we cant see in our timpanic membrane or ear drum and may be causing that noise, I deal with alot of welding and grinding and i usually have metal slivers in my fingers i could hardly see with the naked eye, i may just go and ask my ENT, here in Mexico doctors are more flexible and understanding, ...well the young ones, the old f a r t s ere not! Their known phrase is "learn to live with it" it is very ignorant in their part to just say that and do no research or deeper observation, the young ones are more open to any suggestions or ideas, they less arrogant and sttuburn!

Was your T noise induced? Mine was, i only got it on one ear but its a very high pitch, im esed to it and it doesn't bother me any more, after my second onset i pretty much said f u c k i t! And it is usually easier to habituate when one can care less about this helllish problem!
