Tinitus woes can you advise me?

I've had this for weeks now and would like some advice.  I've always had problems with my ears (white noise) since I was 7yrs but only recently has this got worse.  I have exzema in my ears which produce far too much wax. I blame myself for these problems because every time they itched I scratched them and used cotton buds.

?I had my ears shringed last Christmas because they completely blocked up, after that I used Earol spray from boots one evening and oil drops with a dropper the following evening.

?Occasionally my left ear rang but now very often, but now my right ear is constantly making a high pitched noise which I find hard to bear.  I went to SpectSavers and they put a camera in my ear, they said one ear was full of wax (despite using the Earol).while there was some yellow residue in my left, they wern't sure if it was a infection or residue from olive oil left over.

I have made an appointment with my Dr but I have to wait weeks because the receptionists wouldn't make it any earlier.  One evening while watching TV, I could hear it above the sound, so I went to the walk in surgery.and on examination said the back of my ear on the left looked red and swollen.  I've been given a spray with steroid in, and have since got one for my ringing right ear.  I use it three times a day.

I'm fed up because it's not too bad during the day, it's when I try and relax during the evening it seems to get worse.  Also my ear itches which I daren't touch in case it makes it worse.  My left ear is behaving itself since using the spray, it's just my problematic right ear now.

?I wouldn't be in this situation if I hadn't of scratched, or used cotton buds, so I blame myself that I've cause e-reversable damage to my hearing,  I'm hoping this will go back to white noise but it's highly unlikely.  I used to love meditation, but that's been taken away now.

?Can you advise me please?

Excuse the spelling.

Don’t blame yourself.   I suffer from atopic eczema too on my hands and they’ve become so infected by my scratching that I had to take antibiotics twice last winter.  I know that itch is very hard to stop.

I have had this high pitchef ringing - almost like a high tension wire .  It is loud too and have had it for 2 months now following g a viral flu I had early January.  Waiting g to see my doctor to get referral to ENT and audiologist.  She too is busy so I have been weeks waiting on this appointment.  Walk in clinics say there is fluid in my ears so they gave me a nasal spray.  So far that has t helped.  I get some days it is t as loud but it is always there.  Sure hoping this isn’t permanent or that I get hearing loss due to Tinnitus.  Everything I read online indicates it is permanent but hoping there are s an issue with my ears and the fluid and once drained it will go.  But it is distracting and depressing.   Hope you are able to get answers as to yours.

Hopefully yours is due to some other problem and your T will go away.

Just been to the Dr had a stressful experience, I might change surgeries eventually when I can. I felt like I wasn’t being listened to and that I kept being slapped down. I was reasurred at all felt like I was being told off all the time. The Dr wasn’t very friendly and got very moody with me. I feel like I was treated badly and there’s nothing I can do about it. She took a swab from my left ear and got a bit annoyed with me when I asked if she could look in my right ear. She said there was no wax in there, but I noticed a bit when I scartched my ear automatically (trying to break habit of doing that).

I’m really upset at the mo because I mentioned I’ve always had white noise in my ears (should have kept my gob shut) that I didn’t need to see an ear specialist. Told me off for using the walk in surgery and specsavers. I used the walk in surgery as the ringing was driving me mad!

Don’t know what else to do now. I feel everything is my fault.
