I'm quite deaf but tinnitus is still a problem believe it or not, but only when I'm not wearing hearing aids.

My brother who suffered tinnitus as the result of industrial conditions was fitted with a pair of "training hearing aaids" what ever they are  and they seemed to work.

Anyway my NHS hearing aids help a great deal with tinnitus but only when I wear them. It may be worth while looking into this but only go with the NHS for a hearing test and assessment, have a word with your GP. Private firms make their money by selling so 10 to 1 you'll end up with them whether they help or not.

I have had Tinnitus for years in both ears. I so wish there was a cure. I have the radio on all day in the background, and it does not make the slightest difference at all.

Have you tried motion sickness pills, i read a guy git rid of tinnitus by taking it, he said he gotten tinnutus due to a loud concert, then he started getting traveling sickness and took bonine mltion sickness pills and the ringing went away for good, i tried it but didnt help but helps me sleep, try it, it might just work, noise induced may not work or God knows, maybe it will!

Our cure is habituation, and we all can live in peace with it, we just have to learn and teach our brain that its ok, it will make matters better if you accept and adapt, we all have, its ok to be scared, but nothing is going to happen to us, its just one more noise to our ears menu, annoying but can be blocked eventually, stop fighting it and welcome it, i have and i been better ever since, you all will as well, God is great!

In cases it does go away, it all depends how you got it or how fast you treat it, if you are in the vrry first stages its highly recomended to go to your ent or doctor to give you steroids and other treatments but in most cases there is no cure or treatments, it all depends how you got it....i hope you go get treated asap so you can at least reduce the volume....
