Tinnitus, a side effect of Sertraline (Zoloft)?

Hi all,

I've been on Sertraline (50mg) for 9 weeks now and developed bad tinnitus and sensitivity to sound early on (within the 2nd week).

The sensitivity to sound diminished after 6 weeks but the tinnitus has remained. I mostly only notice the ringing in my years after exercising, whenever I lie/sit down or when I'm in bed. Its bearable and i've tried to let myself ignore it/just see it as an annoyance that will go away eventually.

Has anyone else experienced tinnitus as a side effect? If so, did it every fade away with time, or did it only go after stopping the drug?
