Tiny black dots.....??

Posted , 9 users are following.

I have noticed that 2 tiny black mole like dots have appeared. One of them I've had for a while and I just thought it was a mole but now another has arrived. Their not raised or anything and don't itch but I wondered if anyone else sees these mysterious dots happening to them. About the size of a pin head. They are on the fleshy part of the inside of the labia major.

    Hi,

i had some is it Petechia, it comes from pressure I think, I think mine came from cycling, tiny bleeding under the skin, just trying to reassure you. I put clob on the area and it went tiny amount.  I have pin head red ones at the fourchette as well I think there mine are from atrophy.  Do you have a follow up soon?

Thanks Sue, it's good to hear. I'm seeing a specialist in LS for the first time this week and it will be interesting to hear what she has to say!

About four years ago I noticed several of those tiny spots and at one point I had a little bleeding from a couple. Not much just a couple of drops on my underwear. I went to gyn and she removed a couple of the larger ones and biopsied them. Came back as hemorrhagic epithelial polyps. No cancer. The gyn I saw at the time said they are common and nothing to worry aboutI still have a couple small ones but they never bother me and have not changed. I did not have LS at the time but when I was diagnosed about a year later with LS I questioned my LS specialist about these spots also and shesaid the same thing, they are nothing to worry about and are common especially in post menopausal women because of decreased estrogen. I have not gotten any new ones. Hope this helped

I have about 30-40 of these black dots. I understand they are probably just petechia and therefor harmless, but you brought LS into the discussion. What is LS?

Hi Dee, I had a little bit larger black, smooth spot.  My doctor said not to worry as some discoloration is normal in that area.  After a few months it slowly faded away.  I don't know if the baking soda or borax had anything to do with it, but it hasn't come back, and nothing new has occurred.

Hi, I had some black marks, on my inside , mine was very sore but it didn't itch, I also had a couple of open sores, mine turned out to be VIN which is not cancer, you need to see a gynecologist at hospital, I wish you good luck.

Hello, they are so teeny tiny, like a small black inkpen dot, not raised, don't feel them but they appeared just like moles do on your skin. You just look down one day and there they are!!

Thanks ladies, I just noticed 2-3 pin head size but raised (which is how I felt them when applying creams) maybe a month ago. I do spend time in UK, but have been discharged from the vulva dermatologist as in her view I have my LS under control 😳

Sorry been away from the computer for a few days. My gynie didn't seem to be worried about the little brown mole like dots. Can't remember what he called them but he said not to worry about them.
