Google Bartholin's Cyst and see if this is in the right area? I had one few weeks back, doc checked it out n said it was a Bartholin's cyst n not of concern. Have a check n if in doubt get some reassurance from doc - hope it's nothing serious

Cheryl, I would like to advise you to see your doctor.  I think it impossible to tell what it would be on line.

Hopefully it won't be anything too serious, rather very inconvenient.

I had this happen before I was diagnosed. I found a bump while in the shower and it completely freaked me out and itched like crazy. I got an appt with a gyno but had to wait for it. In an ac of desperation to stop the itching, I used some anti-fungal cream that you get in a box of Canesten. A few days later, I noticed that the bump was gone. I don't know if the cream had anything to do with it, but it did go away. When I went to the gyno, I received my diagnosis.

I had a tiny hard bump some years before I was diagnosed. My doc told me to come back if it's not gone in a specified time. It simply disappeared on its own.

Always have anything you are not sure about checked by your GP or specialist.  This condition is manageable but needs watching.  Better safe than sorry.
