Tips for hippies who live alone

Skirting board sockets not possible. Hairdryer permanently plugged in and on a table. Use it for hair and for drying lower legs and feet. Bought in shower moisturiser. Reorganised kitchen cupboards and cooked some casseroles in advance for freezer. Bought some slip on shoes as laces not possible. Found some squeezey travel bottles in 3 colours for soap, shampoo, conditioner and they have a suction to stick at eye level on tiles in shower. Organised council to go to garden to get bins, they supply a yellow and black sticker in my area to alert them help required. Perfected on line grocery shopping and they put in on kichen work top. Stocked up on toiletries etc before the big day. Once home put a sticker on door asking callers To Be Patient. I do have family close by but they all have work life and the only request is when they vist they bring a pint of milk. Got hair cut and tended to toenails pre op. Fortunately I am 15 mins walk from town - well more like 40 at moment so no driving for 8 weeks not an issue and I do have a bus pass but yet to measure the seat height but this on the adgenda today. Hope these tips help lone hippies to plan ahead

That's a good tip about the bins Ann and the sticker on the door.  Luckily I am not on my own, but for people who are, brilliant tips.

Wow, how organised are you? Great tips though, thank you. I am due to become a "hippie" on 23rd April so any tips like these for being organised are more than welcome. x
