Tips for sleep - Gastritis

Hello,
I have recently been diagnosed with both Lymes Disease and Acute Gastritis. I have already set up an appointment with my GP to start on anitbiotics for Lymes and am not very concerned with that matter.
My problem is the fact that the two ailment combined are a real energy sucker, I have been missing a ton of work due to this. Lymes is known to drain the body of energy as it is,and the fact I cant stomach anything of high nutritional value doesnt help my constant exauhstion. I am getting by drinking ensure, apple juice, and eating the occasional boiled egg for the time being. Non of which upsets my stomach beyond a couple extra gurgles and belches.
I am completely aware that there is no quick cure for either of these ailments. I am simply seeking help in finding ways to get back my night time sleep schedule. I can handle the symptoms during the day usually with no problem... these late night flare ups are impossible to get back to sleep from (if I achieve getting to sleep in the first place). Please anyone with anyhelp to offer in the way of avoiding or soothing night time gastritis flare ups I need your help. I cant afford to lose my job over an upset stomach!
Would also like to ask if feeling the effects of gastritis not only in your stomach but in your intestines as well is common.
I am currenty taking zantac 150 twice a day. No smoking, drinking, or solid food beyond what I have mentioned.
Thanks in advanced for any help you may offer.

My Review of Aloe Juice for Gastritis:
While I can't say it has solved my night time sleep problems it sure has made coping al around easier .... for those thinking of trying this I'd say give it a shot. In my experience so far drinking aloe juice is comparable to putting lotion on very dry almost cracking skin, it wont fix you necessarily and it might sting jus a little at first (bit of an acidic taste) but it is very soothing once it gets settled and disperses a bit.
I would suggest drinking with or followed by apple juice just to take a bit of that earthy taste/ sting away.

Sorry if this is too much info but to before I explain my hesitance Id like to say my BM have been "irregular" as of recent, feelings of constipation are constant but what comes out is almost entirely mucus and real no stool (I think due to the high amount of fructose(apple) suddenly introduced to my diet). One of the side effects listed was constipation due to an excess build up of mucus, so obviously that was a red flag for me.
It also negates effects of other medications being taken at the same time as slippery elm. Apparently this is due to the thick layer of mucus that is covers your digestive tract when SE is ingested, it slows or even stops the desired meds/herbs from reaching your bloodstream (I can only imagine it would do the same to the nutrients my body is trying to absorb). Not only can I not afford to lose any more daily nutrients then the ones I am already missing out on with such a limited diet... I think I still need zantac to be in full effect for the time being to slow production of stomach acid, when I forget zantac before I eat the food im digesting seems to take a more violent route through out my body.
Please feel free to correct me, or shed light on anything I have said here... I am truly interested in this product.

Diet is very important....!
I do it bread, even white bread is sometimes better, but must be VERY toasted and I use artisanal breads not the industrial ones.
Flaxseeds and any kind of seeds are a big NO! which is a pity... no meat. No row veggies. I use lactose free fat free milk it works perfect. Eggs doesn't bother me.... so far... its very difficult....it varies.... sometimes if you are very inflamed no matter what u have its not going to work...Home made from the scratch chicken soup is a life saver. white rice, apples compote, not row! hope this help! Diet helps a lot, but there is not much knowledge about this gut issues. And Meds even if they do something will damage something else....

Can anyone suggest any other food I may take well too? Its only been a week and Im getting sick eggs and apples already. I tried skinless seasonless chicken breast which I ate slowly and only maybe a few ounces of, but I dont think my stomach was ready for meat again just yet... 5 hours later I had one of my worst flare ups so far.
