Tips on applying clob

Hi there,
Does anyone have any good tips on the best way to apply clob. My dermatologist told me one fingertip squeeze and run it along the affected areas. This seemed simple when he explained it, but having tried it for the first time tonight i am not convinced it has gone on as smoothly as he suggested. Does anyone have any handy tips? thanks so much for any help x

LS requires a lifestyle change.... helpful equipment: black plastic spoon, large hand mirror, stool, either finger cot, sterile glove, and or Q-tips. mirror up stable on stool, visualize where the CPO 0.05% is to be applied..... do not use naked fingertip to apply ointment. CPO is a Level I of 5 corticosteroid medications. (I being the strongest.). Cut 5 fingers from glove if using glove versus finger cot. Wash hands. Slip covering over pointer finger. On a clean surface place a pea size amount of CPO. Black plastic throw away spoons work well. Apply with gloved fingertip or Q-tip to areas MD directed. Apply to white infiltrated areas. Avoid healthy tissue, do not apply CPO on healthy tissue-reason cover application finger. Wash hands. (I, 16 years in, use Q-tip to massage into tight fold lines reducing adhesive deterioration rate)
Majority of specialists (Vulva Clinics) suggest warm water sitz bath prior to application as damaged dermis absorbs CPO better. I purchased 7 white, no die cloth table napkins, using one for drying prior to application.I also purchased a biobidet (electric heated water.) 4 minutes warm water rinse with bidet so much easier than sitz bath maintenance. And can rinse acidic pH urine off after every empty.
