Tired all day

Hi. I'm very tired all day and usually give up and go to bed around 6pm. I'm awake every hour or so. I get up around 630 a.m. feeling beat. I worked nights for 30 years and retired a year ago. That's when this began.

So sorry to hear that, it could be that your body was really used to you working nights and sleeping during the day. Please let me know if you start feeling better, insomnia really sucks

I’d try to stay up until the preferred bed time hour without taking a nap before. It’ll be really really hard but if you try to condition a new sleeping hour your body may slowly get acustommed to the new routine.  You may want to build on it with first trying to stay up until 8, then after a few days, 9, and so on. It’s worth a try .
