Tired all the time

Hi there

I'm feeling tired all the time. I'm always sleepy and whenever i sit in the room alone i quickly fall asleep.

now as i write this post, i can tell u i woke up two hours ago and im already tired and want to sleep eventhough i slept for 10 hours last night

Anyone feeling the same? What to do to get my energy back

    How old are you and are you on any medications that could cause it.

      I am 23

      And no im not on any medications

      Ive had my thyroid, kidney, liver, iron, vitamins checked

      All blood tests are normal

      Its been a week

      At least it is being investigated. I'm knackered because I cannot sleep. A long sleep for me is about three hours.

      No thank god i sleep a lot. And ive only been feeling tired for a week now. Its not a chronic thing. I hope it ends soon

      And i hope u figure out why this is happening to u.

    I think you could be depressed or worried about something. How about going for a good long walk it will do you good to be out in the fresh air!

      No no I'm very happy these days. I dont have any problems everything in my life is fine. I exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Its just that I'm tired even when i dont do anything. Yet being tored doesnt stop me from hitting the gym or going out with friends

    Do any of you have JHS? Are you double jointed? If you are young and just gone through the biggesteriod of growth, if you are double jointed it can be very tiring. If your not then the teenage years, hormonal changes with the added stree of exams it a very tiring time. If your autonomic nervous system get out of balance it can make you very sleepy or the reverse give you insomnia. A chat with your GP may be helpful

    It might be worth upping your dosage of Vitamin B.

    Some nutritionists also recommend a detox diet, but this could make you feel much weaker in the short term.
